Can’t believe this is the 10th Annual ‘Cupid’s Hunt’! I’m a sucker for love songs, so making Valentine’s Day mixes is something I can really get behind. This year’s one hour mix expresses an array of romantic and sensual feelings, from purely lustful (NSFW) to outright devotion, sung by both men and women. As always, I start it out slow and low, building up the energy as we go. There’s a number of bootleg remixes amongst some amazing original songs from an array of lesser known producers. You’re guaranteed to discover some artists you’ve never heard of! Most of this music was discovered via SoundCloud and is available to download free. A few came from the Artist Union or Tone Den sites.

Its the 7th Annual Cupid’s Hunt Podcast Collaboration which The Chillcast has participated in since its inception. I’m a sucker for love songs, so this is a mix I always look forward to putting together. This year I’ve got a pretty upbeat mix with a lot of danceable grooves, and a variety of love themes with the lyrics. There’s quite a few new songs, but I also threw in a few older tracks I’ve been holding onto. Nearly every song is a free download, so be sure to grab your faves for your own love song mixtapes!

Its that time of the year… the time when our hearts swell with antipation of romance and that one especially hot date for Valentine’s Day. The Chillcast Joins Cupid’s Hunt Project

After reading about it on the Friday Favecast blog today, I decided to join in the fun on the Cupid’s Hunt Project, since it just seems so obvious that The Chillcast should do a Valentine’s Day Special. I know I should probably be putting together a big 100th Episode for next Sunday, but since I’ve actually produced 129 episodes to date according to my PodShow stats, it doesn’t feel like the big milestone the number implies… Plus I just celebrated by 2 Year Anniversary of The Chillcast! At any rate, I’m having fun putting together a one hour playlist of songs about L-O-V-E for this Thursday, so stayed tuned to check it out on the big day, baby!
