The talk-music format of this new episode hearkens back to my early days on PodShow, and with Ryan Lum as my special guest, it’s also similar to my classic artist interview features. He and I sat down to chat about our brand new Lovespirals ‘Smile – Single’ both sharing our songs plus music by other artists that inspired us this time around. After a 2-year hiatus, The Chillcast with Anji Bee podcast is back! The past 6 or 7 years the show has only been available on Mixcloud so it’s exciting to check out the new Anchor by Spotify system. The Vegan Optimist Interviews Anji & Ryan

Anji and her Happy Healthy Vegan partner, Ryan, were recently interviewed by Ryan Tratner for his podcast, The Vegan Optimist.

“The Vegan Optimist is a podcast spreading positivity and optimism about the future of veganism. It is a place of learning focused on positive developments in all things vegan!”

It’s a pretty fun half hour conversation that goes into how we met, how/why we became vegan, and what lead to the creation of our YouTube channel, as well as our thoughts on veganism and vegan activism, how to go vegan, the lie of “humane” meat, plus a lightning round of couple questions. What stupid thing did we recently get into a fight over? Find out!

I thought I’d share my short-lived female-oriented music podcast, Lovely Ladies, with my Mixcloud audience. It’s been many years since these shows were available online. One of the nice things about this show is that I didn’t do any brand sponsorship or run Podshow ads. Another nice thing is that I recorded DJ voiceovers with info about the music as well as my thoughts/feelings about the artists. I kinda miss doing these radio-style shows!

Anji Bee Celebrates Dave’s Lounge 10th Anniversary

Its the 10th Anniversary of Dave’s Lounge, the chillout, trip hop and downtempo show of my long time friend, Dave Warner.  We met online back in the good ole days of Mp3.com, and met in person years later in Las Vegas at the 2008 New Media Expo. We’ve both hosted each other’s podcast for fun, and helped promote each others shows and music regularly. Its hard to believe time has flown by so quickly over the past decade. Celebrating Dave’s 10th year reminds me that The Chillcast will be 10 next January, too. Wow! This episode of the Lounge is a trip down memory lane, with many songs I haven’t heard in awhile, including the wonderful Soul Whirling Somewhere remix of my own song, “This Truth,” by my band, Lovespirals.

Anji Bee on Behind The Lyric Radio Show

Anji Bee discussed both the lyrical back story behind her Lovespirals‘ song “This Truth” on the latest episode of Behind The Lyric. She also talked about how the chart-topping Damien.S VS Lovespirals remix single came to be released by Loverush Digital in 2010. Hostess and show producer, Marcie Joy, plays the Adam Fielding Chilled Out Mix. Interestingly, Adam was also a guest on this episode, talking about his latest album. More great songs and stories are featured from Zoe Johnston, Maxx Hennard, Yavanndiel, Noah, and Marcie.
