Impulsively made a new episode last night after recording a shoutout for SoccerGirl’s 200th episode. A quick update on the new Lovespirals album and my podcast studio, plus lingerie chat, can glasses be sexy?, and real life Anji vs Second Life Anji. The theme music this week and last week, btw, is the “Hidden Desires” theme Ryan and I made last year for the proposed soap opera podcast with Adam Curry that seems to have slipped through the cracks. Figured I may as well make use of the song!
Last week my show didn’t upload and I gave up on it. This week I’m doing a shorter one just to test out what the heck is going on. But it still has content… I briefly talk about my discomfort with getting personal on ShowGirls, going to the Diggnation taping, and working on Lovespirals‘ new CD, amongst other things. Check it out, let me know if it plays on your iPod or AppleTV, OK?
Recorded this Wednesday… Has entertainment advanced to the point where Reality TV isn’t real enough? Am I contributing to the decay of society? Hmm… I’m caught in the middle on RIAA issues with Internet radio and podcasting fees et al. What is the secret to my vidcast setup? My latest activities and more…
I think you can watch the sun go down behind me this week as I chat about Twitter, podcaster crushes, Matthew Ebel, Second Life, taxes, my noisy neighbor, my new superfan, breaking my Unwind legend, Lovespirals news, PodCruise, PME, and live performance nerves. OH don’t forget to Bum Rush the Charts 3/22/2007 – whenever that is wherever you are watching this!
Andreas interviewed me for a special feature on my various musical projects on his new XtraChill Intensiv podcast! The feature includes several tracks each from Lovespirals, Bitstream Dream, and Plastic Chair, giving an overview of my work from the past 5 years or so. This is a bilingual interview, with Andreas speaking in German and English and me just in English. But music is the universal language, right?
Welcome to the premier episode of Unwind, the show that’s guaranteed to melt away the stress of your day! I’ve got a relaxing mix of sweet pop, acoustic rock, and smooth jazz by some of the best artists on the Podsafe Music Network all lined up for your listening pleasure. So just lay back, close your eyes, and prepare to unwind…
A bit late, but I’ve been a busy girl, as you shall hear/see! This is the premier of my new glasses, sorry about the glare… I spill the beans on my big new podcast project (launching next week!), lament the recent status of my Thursday date, rip Factory Girl a new one – particularly the whole Edie and Bob Dylan “love” thing (scroll down a bit…) – and proclaim, “I am nerd!”
Here’s that 3rd episode I mentioned last week… I am launching a brand new project on March 5th, so that may have some affect on whether Lovely Ladies happens weekly or fortnightly, but I’m having a lot of fun, so I’m sure I’ll keep doing them pretty regularly. Haven’t selected an exact drop day (ie Tuesdays, Thursdays et al) so just keep checking back for more!

Looks like the vidcast is staying weekly! This week I freak out at the optometrist and gross out on the discovery of the source of the “stinky cat box smell” I mentioned last week. I also talk about my recent collaboration with Moosefrog, working on the Lovespirals and Love Spirals Downwards websites, my new Lovely Ladies music podcast, working with The Lounge King on Mix96, stealing Rogue and Ronnoc from Rumor Girls, and more.
Thanks for all the comment love on the first episode everybody! Hope you enjoy this selection of dreamy, melancholic, wistful indie pop and folk rock just as much. I know I said I was going to do this podcast fortnightly, but I’ll let you in on a little secret: I already put together the 3rd episode’s playlist! Hey, do me a favor and spread the word to all your music loving friends, ok?
