Sorry this week’s show is a bit late. Things are always crazy around the holidays! But I promise it was worth the wait. I’ve got some great new releases this week. I’m also introducing a few new bands to the show. This week’s show is a bit heavier on male vocals than usual, though there’s also a few female vocal tunes and instrumentals. And as usual, I’ve got some amazing free downloads in the mix. Hope my American listeners are having a chill Thanksgiving holiday!
This week’s one hour show is chock full of Chillcast favorites! From big names to lesser-known artists, to brand new discoveries, I am super excited to bring you this excellent mix of new tunes. I’m also excited to finally play some of the new Lovespirals Love EP music for you. Wee! Oh, and free downloads? I’ve got a bunch of ’em for ya! Hey, if you love the show, please let me — and all your friends — know over at facebook.com/chillcast or twitter.com/chillcast!

With the ominous sound of raging winds outside my studio window, I put together a set of sweet, sweet vocal tunes to soothe the soul and bring peace to my agitated mind. And lucky you, you get to experience this bliss, as well! In classic Chillcast form, we start out with laidback chillout in the first half and slowly work our way up to smooth minimal tech house and close it out with my two favorite Göteborg vocalists. Lots of great free downloads this week, so grab ’em while they’re hot!
Feeling a bit under the weather, but wanted to get a show out for ya, anyway… Got some great tracks with a bit of an electropop theme overall. Hope all my American listeners enjoyed their holiday and that everyone dug the special DJ mix episode last week!
Rather than simply type up my Top 20 podsafe picks for 2006, I figured I’d put together a special episode of The Chillcast so you can hear them yourself! It was actually pretty difficult to keep the list to just 20, I have to admit. The quality of podsafe music just keeps increasing as the weeks and months go by, and I’m sure there’s still more great tracks from 2006 left for me to discover in coming episodes. I’m definitely looking forward to the new crop of podsafe tracks of 2007!
