Dave’s Lounge Chillcast Sneak Attack
I just put together special half hour “Chillcast Sneak Attack” episode of the popular weekly downtempo podcast, Dave’s Lounge. I thought it would be fun to surprise the very busy Dave this week with a few underground hits from some of the music sites we used to haunt back in the infancy of the online music community. This 6 song episode includes tracks by Captain Ginger, Elekoustic, EchoVent, Misnomer, Sudaka, and Bitstream Dream.
This is the 2nd time I have guest hosted the show. My first time was back in 2006 for Dave’s Lounge #46. In return, Dave guest hosted Chillcast #13.

OK you loyal fans know that I’ve been nursing a crush on Laker cutie, Sasha Vujacic, ever since I met him at a John Mayer concert this past December. I even wrote a blog post about the “Machine” sign that I brought to Staples Center for his season high game in January. Well, my enthusiam has not gone unnoticed by his webteam, who included me in a featured story this week called Sasha Spirit. I am at once thrilled and abashed…
And this comes just 2 weeks after my girly Sasha question appeared in the Lakers Mailbag on the official Lakers site!
If you, too, have a secret (or not so secret) crush on #18, come join me and my fellow Vujachicks on my Sasha Vujacic Ning Forum.

“This Truth” Ft. Anji Bee Tops UK Charts
Hot new UK dance music label, Loverush Digital, is about to drop a “Damien.S VS Lovespirals” branded set of remixes of our single, “This Truth,” TOMMORROW February 9th. UK radio and club DJs, however, have already been spinning advanced copies the past few weeks. To my delight, the EP has been blazing up the DMC charts!
DMC is currently listing “This Truth” at #2 on the World Trance Chart, #4 on the World House Chart and the UK Club Chart, #6 on the Club 2009 Test Chart, #10 on the World Chart and #18 on the World Monthly Chart.
Support for the track has been great and we’re excited to be played on shows and stations including Housesssions with Denny Dowd on Juice FM, PH Factor on Energy FM, Club Control with DJ Confusion, and Twilight on Pulse. Reactions have been fantastic, as well. DJs are reporting lots of dancefloor love and even requests!
John McCormick (Deep 6, Fury Murrys, The Hive, Yates) 10/10
This has created one of the biggest buzzes on the floors I’ve seen in ages. Its an enormous winner and packs the floors everytime without fail. Superb mix package. Top stuff all round!
DJ Crispian Aldis (Elemental, Havanah, Paradise) 10/10
This is good and is causing quite a stir in my sets. Loads of fab mixes to choose from. Top track, top label. I can see big things for Loverush in 2009.
Beaker (Berties, Bunters, Divas, Red Square) 9/10
I love the feel to this track, she has such a haunting voice. You can’t help but hear it. It’s such a smooth chill out dance track that works really well.
John J (Club DNA, Liquid Lounge, Wigan Pier) 9/10
