Three decades after the last issue Positive Influence was released, the ‘zine is seeing new life!

We are very siked to have the opportunity to collect and release an old favorite. Every logo, ad, illustration, photo, and page of this zine is a blueprint. Positive Influence was done by Anji Lum from Oct 1988 until sometime during the beginning of 1990 in San Pedro, CA – 100% pure SoCal teenage hardcore exuberance. Anthology coming soon! 🐿

I have partnered with Shining Life Press to re-issue all 6 issues of Positive Influence, along with bonus material including photos, flyers, ads, and an introductory chapter that goes into the history of the ‘zine and stories from those times. No release date is set yet as we are still collecting materials, but as you can see from this flyer, we are off to a good start. I’m excited to collaborate on this project!
