Chillcast Video #44: Andreya Triana

This month’s Chillcast Video Edition features Ninja Tune artist, Andreya Triana, who just released her debut solo album Lost Where I Belong. This lovely video for the title track was directed by Daniel Chester and Dave Prosser and was produced by Sweetworld with live-action directed by Robert Sanderson. “Lost Where I Belong” was co-written with Fink and produced by Bonobo, who Andreya is currently on tour with.

Get comfy for the longest fricken episode yet! I had way too many events to talk about this time and totally went double the normal time. Topics include attending the premiers of Inland Empire, and What Is It?, Miranda July, The Late Late Show, Rob Morrow, Death to Smoochy, Scout, and the Lovespirals Super Sale. But mostly I talk about Crispin Glover.

Wow did I have a lot to drink last night… Finally made it out to Lou with an interesting group of folks and found myself drinking glass after glass of the tastiest wine! Started out with white, then progressed to red. Also munched on plates of olives, almonds, cheeses, breads; it was heaven. Joey and Rob talked about their recent trip to Paris and Antwerp, while Jonathan and Danielle shared tales of their European tour, including England, Morocco, and Amsterdam. The last trip I took was to Ontario, CA, for PodShow’s UnExpo — and I didn’t even spend the night! Speaking of Podshow, what the hell is up with their site today?
