Chillcast #375: The Zone [NSFW]

Most people think of me as being super chill and positive but I’ve got a dark side that The Weeknd appeals to. Inspired by seeing him perform recently at The Greek Theatre, I put together another of my infamous NSFW mixes. Its actually a pretty sexy mix, explicit language aside. Abel’s voice is featured heavily, with a combo of collaborations, bootleg remixes, and mashups. Drake, who made an appearance on stage, also figures in this mix. Everything here is free to download, so knock yourself out! And please, put some earbuds on before you fire this up at work. LOL.

I’ve gathered up an hours worth of accumulated Not Safe For Work – slash – Not Radio Friendly tunes that are heavy with explicit language, sexy beats, and urban vibes. I thought about calling this week’s one hour episode “Tiny Violins” because I selected an awful lot of songs with strings in them, but decided instead to name it after the Lana Del Rey song that played such a haunting role in the soundtrack of The Great Gatsby. I was partly inspired by the bittersweet beauty of that film while selecting this playlist, as the overall sound is much more moody than upbeat.
