This is the first time Danish band, When Saints Go Machine, have appeared on Chillcast Video, though I’ve actually played them several times on my audio show, The Chillcast with Anji Bee. I did feature a side project of the band, Kenton Slash Demon, way back on Chillcast Video #65, however. When Saints Go Machine just released their 3rd album, Infinity Pool, and this is the official video for the first single, “Love and Respect (feat. Killer Mike).”

It was featured as a Vimeo Staff Pick, and is a free download. “First Fires” is the second single from Bonobo’s brilliant new 5th album, The North Borders, out now on Ninja Tune. I fell in love with the “Alive” single by Toddla T & Shola Ama when it first dropped late last year, so I was excited to discover there is a video for the song. The Alive video was produced by Saloon Films with direction from The Late Misters for Ninja Tune. In related news, Shola Ama just released a fab new single called “Boyfriend,” and Toddla T has an amazing remix coming out soon. This young Los Angeles singer/songwriter/dancer is set to release her debut album on RCA this year, but she’s already released 2 amazing free albums independently as “mixtapes.” From her 2012 mixtape, Reverie, this is the sexy video for “Ecstasy.” This song was produced by K-BeatZ, while the video was directed by Smallz and Raskind.
